Hardness

Over 85% of the water in the United States is considered hard. Water hardness is one of the biggest concerns for the millions of people dependant on well water as their source of water for cooking, cleaning, and bathing.

Hard water, due to the high concentrations of calcium, has a variety of hardness indicators including: spots on dishes, white scales in fixtures, and soap and other cleansers’ lack of ability to lather. The solution for water hardness is a water softener.
