Returns & Replacements

No returns will be accepted without a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number, or out of context of the return policy detailed below. To obtain a return authorization number, please contact customer care.

Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus actual shipping costs. We often ship products for less than we pay for shipping so we may refund less than paid for shipping. For example we offer flat rate shipping on all orders for $7.99, but we may pay $10 to ship your order. In this case your refund would be $10 less for shipping at a 25% restocking fee.

Please inspect all deliveries carefully before signing for them or accepting them from the freight truck. If you accept an item and later realize that it is damaged, you may lose the right to send it back for exchange or refund.

The following are the official guidelines for qualification of a return authorization number:
  • All returns must be received by Water Softeners & Filters in the original packaging and accompanied by a Water Softeners & Filters sales receipt.
  • Merchandise received damaged may be returned within 15 days of receiving the merchandise for replacement. No shipping charges will occur for replacement merchandise.
  • Merchandise received by the error of Water Softeners & Filters. If for some reason Water Softeners & Filters inadvertently shipped an incorrect model to you, the merchandise may be returned to Water Softeners & Filters within 15 days of receiving product. The proper model will then be shipped to the customer. No shipping charges will occur for replacement merchandise.
  • Water Softeners & Filters offers our valued customers a 15-day money back guarantee. If for some reason you are not satisfied with merchandise you may return the merchandise to Water Softeners & Filters for exchange or refund. All merchandise MUST be in brand new condition and meet all other stipulations of Water Softeners & Filters' return policy.
  • Any and all merchandise returned to Water Softeners & Filters without a return authorization number will be refused and returned to customer postage due.
  • Restocking fees may apply to returned merchandise.

Water Softeners & Filters stands behind every product we sell; new or used. If, upon receipt the product is not as described you must notify us within two business days to receive a full refund. The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received for a full refund. Buyer will be responsible for any return shipping and insurance costs.
