This wrench is much stronger than the original plastic wrench that came with the filter housing. It is made of very strong metal with a long handle that allows you to apply more torque to loosen the filter. Great purchase.
Replaced my broken plastic wrench with this unit for my big blue housing. Fits well, has a longer handle for greater leverage arrived quickly. I have an ispring 4 inch by 20 in housing

Perfect replacement. I use a multistage system for well water, with this 5 mic sediment filter, a carbon filter a 1 mic final filter and then a UV sterilizer. One family member had leukemia and avoidance of errant bugs is critical.
